What happened to NERDS the sweets?

There was a big scare with them ages ago wasn't there where people were finding Glass in the packets. Haven't seen them for ages though
Oh yeah! I really loved those sweets! I used to go through a packet a day! I don't know where they went, just dissappeared one day. I also used to cut out the little pictures of them on the packets and make little houses for them. God, I was a lonely kid.
I just saw them yesterday at Krogers, they were on sale.
It was a big pkg. My granddaughter eats them so I try to keep them on hand

nothing u can find them like in the dollar store or something..they have lots of nerds there..there in big boexes sumtimes even
