Wolfes Bar & Grill in Queens St (Covent Garden) does amazing Kobe Beef Burgers - Go there, it's yum!!!!!
Hard Rock Cafe, pretentious chain of burger bars that has its corporate head stuck up its own ****.Covent Garden, near the transport museum
But they do serve Excellent burgers.

Hamburger Union is good but it's also a chain. There's one on Dean Street (as well as Garrick Street).
I'd recommend:
Burger shack on Charing Cross Road. Good choice of food (though not only burgers), good prices and decent surroundings if you want to sit in. I found these were tasty but not the fries so much. Milkshakes - excellent too!

Lovely burgers, lovely chips, lovely everything. You can get speciality burgers that include: Emu, lamb or kangeroo. Brilliant shakes too.
