Why does my skimmed milk freeze in the fridge?

there is nothing unsual about my milk, i have not added anything to it but it always seems to be my skimmed milk that freezes in the fridge at work. Other colleagues who also have the same skimmed milk, in the same 2 pint size do not have this problem even thought we put them in the same area of the fridge. any ideas?

Answers:
One possibility is that it is a frost-free fridge which has vents to circulate cold air and prevent ice from settling, and you are placing your milk too close to one of the vents. If it is an ordinary fridge, or perhaps an auto-defrost model (which is not the same as frost-free) then avoid putting it near the cooling plate at the back, and away from any ice making box or freezer compartment.

Failing that, tell everybody in your workplace that if they do not stop picking on you then Trainman is going to pay them a visit and crack their F****** skulls!
adjust the setting of your fridge then - its too cold
because your fridge is slightly too cold
i think you might have a few practical jokers in your office
the fridge is set too low, get yourself a temperature egg, they are cheap, it lets you know the ideal temp, through colour change.
Themostat set too low?
yup sounds like a joke
Your fridge is too cold .. or some one is putting your milk in the freezer when you're not looking - he he he!

Skimmed milk will freeze at a higher temp because it contains more water!
This is very strange.
maybe its the setting on the fridge.
Consider getting the fridge checked to make sure its working properly. Also check your colleagues or not playing tricks on you.
Putting a lid on the container helps to stave off freezing longer than an a container that has no lid. So consider putting a lid on the container, or put it on the top shelf, since colder air falls to the bottom of the fridge.
Either that or someone is pulling a prank on you, by swapping it with a container with pre-frozen milk or by placing your milk container in the freezer for a while.
Get a container that is unique compared to everyone elses.
Or you could mark your container with UV paint that is only visible under UV light, and nab the prankster.
At first I thought your fridge is set at too low a temperature but if everyone else's is in the same part and they don't freeze the answer is simple ~ Someone's taking the p**s!
