What's the difference between Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero??

Diet Coke has always been known as a women's drink. When they released Coca-Cola Zero they marketed it for men. Hence the ad with all the men marching through the street.

I asked this the other day, because I am a diet coke drinker and couldn't see the point of an essentially identical product.
Apparently, it's because Coke's marketing people reckon Men and teens ar put off by the word diet in the name, so they are re-launching it. Pepsi did the same thing with Pepsi Max ( although I reckon I can taste a difference between Diet P and P Max, which I can't with the Cokes)

Besides tasting different i believe if you read the content values on the side . Zero is Zero everything where as Diet has more carbs or sugar or whatever it is lol.

I always though it was because Coca Cola Zero has no sugar at all, where as Diet Coke just doesn't have any added sugar?? I may be wrong though..
I never found out yet. They have the same ingredients, exactly. But my preference is Diet Coke Zero.

The flavor is so much better in coke zero then diet. It tastes like a coca-cola without all the sugars.
Coke Zero tastes much closer to original coke as the new artifical sweetners mimic sugar better. I prefer coke Zero but my friend thinks it tastes like cough syrup (this from a man who drinks Dr Pepper yeuch!)
I don't know but i still prefer pepsi max. maybe the difference is the same as the difference between diet pepsi and pepsi max?
There is no difference in ingredients, Coke Zero is supposed to taste more like real coke and does, whatever it is that makes the real coke taste is a company secret and always has been, so I guess we will never know!
not much really its actually quite funny; Coca cola zero was introduced to get men drinking it you rarely see a man drinking diet coke as it looks like he is dieting which in many social circles is a terrible thing to admit to. The coca cola company realises that men may want to have a healthier alternative but would not be seen dead drinking diet coke so lets make a healthy alternative sound sound dangerous instead: COCA-COLA ZERO! grrrrr MANLY!!

They are identical, it's a blatant marketing ploy and coca cola has freely admitted it. Diet is aimed at women zero at men.

Diet Coke contains citric acid and Zero doesn't. Zero contains acesulfame potassium and Diet doesn't. Zero has 40mg sodium and Diet has 35mg per serving.

I think Coke Zero tastes just like regular Coca-Cola. I can't drink Diet Coke anymore, it tastes like chemicals and not good at all. (All these people saying it's the same product with a different name have clearly not drunk both.) However, someone above mentioned this as well, why on earth does it go flat IMMEDIATELY? If I don't chug it, it's flat in 5 minutes. Strange!
