Old Favourite
Pork Fricassee
Ingredients
2 level tablespoon butter
1 heaped tablespoon plain flour
half pint cold milk
half teaspoon English Mustard
salt and pepper
Put the butter into a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Soften over a very low heat.
- Add the flour.
- Using a wooden spoon mix the flour, butter and mustard together to form a smooth paste.
- Remove from the heat.
- Very gradually begin to incorporate the milk into the flour and butter paste.
- Make sure that there are no lumps in the sauce.
- Return to a gentle heat.
- Stirring all the time, gradually add the rest of the milk.
- Bring the sauce to the boil.
- At this point you can add the cooked, diced Pork.
(you can also add mushrooms or any extra veg, so long as it isn't mashed)
-Still stirring, boil gently for about 2 minutes. Make sure that the Pork is thoroughly heated before eating.
-Remove from the heat and season to taste.
It is safe to re-heat Pork, so long as it has been stored correctly, but only ever re-heat cooked meat once and it has to be thoroughly heated before eating.
Make roast pork and jelly sandwich
Curry? that's always good. Or you can fry it up with some peppers and mushroom, get some salsa and sour cream and have fajitas. that'd get my vote!
you can make carnitas a Mexican dish, almost like tacos, it's really good.
I wouldn't reheat pork in a stir fry, reheating pork is dangerous. Eat it in a sandwich cold
Make a roast pork sandwhich and put a little bit of apple saurce onto it its nice cooplands make some money selling them type of sandwhichs or do what my mum does gives it to the dog for her dinner the next day

Mince it, and add to scrambled eggs.
Sandwiches with apple sauce, on really squashy white crusty bread. Can't go wrong!
Any braising method would be better or else it would be too dry and tough.
I like teriyaki with a little honey and ginger. Served on plain rice.
it has to be left over roast pork and left over sage and onion stuffing on white bread with butter AND tomato ketchup, love it.
take bread ,put a piece or two of roast pork n put slice of cheese n then heat in microwave or grill
1.Cube it and stir fried with OVER NIGHT COOK RICE
2.Blend meat with cheese (lot of them), parsley, onions, garlic, seasoning and make a quesadilla with it. You can sandwich the filling in between 2 flour tortillas and microwave for 2 to 3 mins. voila.
3. Slice some french loaf (toast and rub with fresh garlic). Thinly slice pork, tomato, onion and mozarella cheese. in the oven to melt cheese for finger food.
AND MANY MORE..
cut into small pcs the make good sandwitch / burger filling.. also u can try making a salad.
Make some stock up using pork oxo cubes.
Add red wine onions & mushrooms & some cornflour.
Simmer for 20 mins, then take out ALL of the onions & mushrooms ( & keep warm )
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar & turn the heat all the way up, to reduce the sauce.
Be carefull & it will reduce quickly & when melting sugar the tempriture is extremely hot SO DONTget it on your skin as it take it off to the bone!!
When it thickens pour over your pork, mushrooms & onions & whatever else you fancy.
Slice or shred it, depending on your preference. Then reheat it in a slightly thinned BBQ sauce. When you thin the sauce, it kind of soaks into the meat. Serve on buns with pickles and cole slaw on the side.
Put a great barbeque sauce over it, and heat it up on the stove. It makes great barbeque sandwiches! I like Open Pit original barbeque sauce, if you don't have your own recipe or a favorite.
Shred it up and add some bbq sauce and you have bbq pork sandwhiches.
diced it up with diced potatoes and make roast pork hash, add green bell peppers and you have a tasty meal..
i usually do up a batter of milk,,flour egg and half a can of lemon fizzy drink , seasonall (spice) salt pepper and a pinch of curry powder .make it so as its not too runny or thick ..coat your left over pork bits , slices or whatever the fry in the frypan till golden .my kids love it and it makes a different meal ..left over batter usually i mix peas and corn in it and spoon this into frypan till golden brown - high in fat but yummy ..
Shred it or pull it, add barbecue sauce heat and serve on good rolls or hamburger buns. Everybody loves a good barbecue pork sandwich!
pork fried rice, pork and gravy open faced sandwiches, pork stew, barbecued pork etc
I'd suggest sandwiches on lovely wholemeal bread, with a bit of mustard, and serve it with lots of salad (you could pop some fresh apple in the salad too, as that goes beautifully with pork!)
shred it in a pan, dice an onion, add a bottle of bbq sauce and have bbq pork sanwiches.
how about a bbq pork sandwich some vegetables to dip in ranch on the side and you have a meal.
