Answers:
Ok, brush your teeth. Drink water, smell vanilla.
get those cadbury thins.they are only 100 calories for each bar.
have a small amount, you will not make it if you don't! If you crack and have it on impulse it will be too much then you will feel bad and probably eat more thinking ahhh **** it! Good luck. go have a little!
Eat something else - like fruit.
My trump card for chocolate cravings on a diet is chocolate milk. I figure if you've got to have chocolate, at least make it non fat and vitamin enriched. Its still not good as it tends to be high in calories, but its better for you than a candy bar.
Instead of drinking tea or coffee take one of those low fat chocolate drinks. I fould it really helped me.
Have a little piece, that way you satisfy your cravings without falling off the wagon. If you deny yourself the stuff you like it will be hard to stick to your diet and eventually you'll give it up.
chew gum
get a chocolate that has a high cocoa quantity. Green and Blacks is great. Its better for you than milk choc and u only really need one little square. Alternatively have a cup of peppermint tea - not quite the same as a bit of chocolate but it has no calories or fat and takes away the desperation for something sweet!!
Reward yourself after a whole day of sticking to your diet have a small piece. If you didnt stick dont have it!
if you must have chocolate then put a bar in the freezer and when it is very hard break off one square and let it melt on your tongue, craving satisfied and you can do it again the next day
eat dark chocolate the higher the coco percentage the better a small amount is not bad for you
Try having a piece of barley sugar. The calories are negligible but it is very sweet and might satisfy your craving.
put a bar of chocolate in the freezer when you need a hit take one squair of the frozen bar and suck it this will last for ages you get your fix and you still lose the weight PS no more than three squairs a day.Hope this helps
im on a diet too and cannot live without choc each day!! i know how bad, have a snack size bar-it willl just take the craving away or a choch biscuit may work.good luck.
you know when you are on a diet, you can still allow yourself the occasional treat, depriving yourself of something that you like will have a negative effect on your mind. its not about eating less, its about eating right and having something that you enjoy will give you the encouragement to carry on
Hey, you might try the low-carb chocolates. They have sugar alcohols instead of sugar. Because sugar alcohols do not get absorbed from the body it gets straight out. But still, because of the laxative effect from sugar alcohols, do not overeat. Try to eat just the recommended amount on the labels of those chocolates.
There are really delicious brands and you almost cannot tell the difference.
This sounds stupid but it works I know I do it and manage each time to ward off the devil. Take a spoon full of cocoa ,yeah bitter dry cocoa, put it in your mouth slop it around for a minute then spit it out rinse your mouth then drink a glass of water. Try it and let me know it has always worked for my friends and me.
Is this question another way of saying you want a black c**k??
No calories but a satisfying mouthful .

Try a low-cal chocolate drink instead
Reward yourself with a small piece if you have had a good day and stuck to the diet. One small piece will have so few calories that it will make no difference.
I agree with Jane S. You can also put fruit in the freezer such as strawberries. When you feel like something sweet you can then suck on a strawberry & you will be eating next to nothing but you'll cure the cravings!
im on a diet too and i have lemons after every meal so my cravings for anything else go away.
Try eating a small piece of very good quality dark chocolate - it has fewer calories as it is higher in cocoa solids than milk and as it has a stronger taste then less of it might soothe your cravings - best of luck!
When I am like that, I have a spoonful of Cadburys Drinking Chocolate and get the taste that way.

1 spoonful of drinking chocolate equals only 20 cals.
hi crstal i was the same, just eat what you want but little and often and allow yourself your kick everyday, its the classic thing we all want what we cant have lol lol,and diet is not a good word hun, just look at it as your changing your eating habbits good luck
If you have the willpower buy a bar and have two swqaures, or if yuor English m & s do a very nice low cal chocolate mousse, or have a cadburys low-lites hot chocoalte not the same at al but if your desperate.. or buy some chocolate cadburys fingers and have two they arn't actually that bad ( i ddi weight watchers and they were my treat) or buy some fun size choc bars?
go ahead and indulge yourself. no i am not saying go an eat as much chocolate as you can till you cant eat any more but a little indulgence will not harm you at all. With any diet it is not healthy to cut out everything that you enjoy because you will be miserable and also you will be guaranteed to fail because no one has that much will power. When i started my diet my doctor told me to cut down on my portion sizes but not to cut out everything that i had enjoyed.
Go ahead and enjoy some chocolate
Take Care and Good Luck
Do not deprive yourself of the chocolate. If you want it then eat it and enjoy..
Any diet that deprives you of your favourite food is not a good diet.
I lost 5 stone on my diet plan, and i ate chocolate every day, so it can be done. If you don't eat the chocolate now, when you start eating again, you will find yourself eating it in huge quantities
You won't spoil the diet, and you will stop beating yourself up about chocolate, and their is no chocoholic like myself.. (speaking from experience).
I find that drinking the low-fat hot chocolate (something like Options) helps massively with the chocolate craving. It's personal taste, but I find a flavoured one is best.
Otherwise, treat yourself to a *tiny* amount of chocolate when you get home. Enough to melt slowly on your tongue, and get the best flavour from it. Dark chocolate is best; a couple of pieces of that nibbled very slowly, hard from the fridge, will satiate your cravings!
have a bit.
its not good to deprive yourself.
then again, don't eat all the choclate that you can stuff in at one sitting.
