It also helped me to pass my driving test. I failed the first one.I was so nervous the car rolled back before we got out of the car park! On the second test someone told me that the vitamin B in marmite would calm my nerves. It worked and I passed!

Marmite is good - not just for eating in sandwiches - thickens gravy and I use it as a yeast nutrient when brewing home-made wines

Definately love it, Marmite on toast is mana from the heavens, especially like to mix it into smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

I like it in small doses. Spread very thinly on buttered (or rather low fat spread) toast.
If you have never tried it, try it with mayonnaise instead, tastes less salty and less 'harsh'
Also of course useful as vegetable stock.
