Yes you can.although I don't know why you would want to..as long as you are very careful with it, it will not fall apart..if it does, try using a little more starch in your shortcrust recipe
why on earth do you want to do THAT eeewwwwwww no way. Ya can deep fry filo pastry but other than that I doubt any other pastry will fry okay
