I wish to buy a mobile snack van and am not sure how to go about getting one and setting up a pitch?

Your local council will advise on the food handling certificate you and your staff need. They need to be aware of you to inspect your van for food handling safety, first-aid training, etc. You will need commercial insurance for your vehicle, for which your car no-claims discount may not apply, (eek!) and as for the pitch itself, back to the council.
