I am going to Pembrokeshire tomorrow for a family holiday. Where's the best pub and nicest place to visit?

Answers:
Go to Solva on the road from Haverfordwest to St Davids. There is a pub there called The Ship which is very good. Not only is it in the Good Beer Guide, but is in the Good Pub Guide as well. Lovely sea views in a pretty valley village.
A guy I work with lives in Haverfordwest, he recons there are quite a few excellent pubs, the best curry house in the UK (some top chef said so) and a fab take away chip shop that does amazing curry and chips, but only opens Fri + Sat.

The nicest place to visit is a little further east and is The Gower.
Spend some time in Tenby. Plenty of nice family pubs in area. Oakwood Park is brilliant for kids.
We like "The Snerdly Bosket" at the corner of Breindlespoon and cloggerspiel. The drinks are generous, friendly people and the Shepards Pie is to die for.

We always call ahead a try to reserve a table which overlooks the alligator pit. If you get there early enough its fun watchimng them feed the gators with those live mice.

If you go say hello to Bitsy, the waitress with the red hair, tatoos on her bosom and the wooden leg.
