I have a Elizabeth 1st 1562 milled sixpence silver English hammered coin small bust large rose,?

does anyone know if its worth anything?

Answers:
Unfortunately when it comes to coins of the middle ages, price guides are not available. From 1600 up it is not to hard to get an approximate price. The coin is hammered not milled. If you live in the UK take it to a coin dealer, seems they have a better reputation than U.S. coins dealers, If you live in the USA you need to take it to a coin dealer that deals in such coins. If that is the case, try Bob Reis he is a very honest dealer. Email him at reisbiz@earthlink.net Sorry my books only go back to 1600 unless it is an Oriental coin. I can look up ancients, but have no prices, but know where to get them. More work needs to be done on the medieval coins, maybe some day.
Anywhere between £50-135. They are hammered not milled BTW.

Try vosper for coins website

I stand corrected, it is milled vosper has one same age £155
Take it to a coin dealer.
