Why do my images printed on an HP45 inkjet printer fade out after six to eight weeks?
Answers:
Here are some things to consider ..
1) Use HP inks only . don't use the ink they sell to refill yourself.
2) Use only HP, Kodak, or Epson High Quality, archive quality paper, for images you want to keep.
3) Store in a temperature controlled environment in dustfree containers.
4) For pictures you want to display, frame them in a frame with glass, and use a mat, so the ink is not against the glass. Display out of direct sun. After time, even in indirect sun some fading will occur . a hallway or somewhere away from sun would be best.
Exposed to sunlight.. heat. you need to put them in a special photo paper sealable bag.. you could laminate them. or put them in frames to protect the image. if you buy some kodak quality paper, it is guaranteed to last 100 years.
YOU'VE USED INVISIBLE INK BUT YOU DIDNT KNOW ABOUT
