Is it true that young kids are working for Nike in Asia.I am disgusted.I just paid £120 for trainers.?
The thing is they've split, the stitching is crap.Who thinks Nike should employ some adults to supervise these little skivers??.
Answers:
Lol. The problem is the little kiddiwinks have never been to schools, so how do they know how to stitch properly? Plus, when they are working 36 hours a day, 19 days a week, they tend to get a little tired and stuff up the job that they are paid $1 a year to do. Have they no pride in their work?
They only make kids shoes !
Most companies exploit someone, or something: its called business.
Best part is: Your shoes were probably worked on by 30 or so people, and only cost about £1 to make.
Well don't buy Nike trainers in future, and opt for a shoe that is made in your country by adults who are likely to be paid a reasonable wage.
they employ adults too they just pay them terrible and they arent given basic rights like bathroom and stuff like that. nike stuff just looks nice its bad they should do somthing about it nike make millions off clothing that is made very cheap
take them back. They're faulty, you will get a refund. They have to by law if its a manufacturing fault ie you havent given them undue stress. whats disgusting is that £120 will probably pay for them to make god knows how many shoes. Say teh kids get 50p per pair of shoes made or even for the day, which probably isnt far off the mark assuming they are made in sweat shops. You've just paid for 240 days of work/ people for one day.
nike, adidas, reebok, all big companies exploit the third world because labour is so cheap. but if u look at it another way, the labour is only cheap to us, to the poor people exploited it is probably a fair wage. this is what is wrong with capitalism and the right wing
