How do I beat XBOX game Fable?

Anyone know how to get through those bandits when you get onto the 'Abandoned road' In the Xbox game FABLE? Also how do I collect rent from the house I let out in Bowerstone? It's doin' my head in but I can't stop playing the damn thing!

Answers:
depends on whether u are a wizard, archer or swordsman which skill u find the easiest to defeat em all. Take your time, arrows for the first couple of bandits and then sword and whatever magic u have accumulated - i like the multihit.
As soon as u enter bowerstone you automatically receive the rent - u dont actually collect it from a character.

i have the game and from my experience its easier to be bad and then you can rob from the houses and then you will be on the bandits side and its easier to kill the guards instead
