Different types of Gameboy?

Gameboy Advance
Gameboy SP
I was thinking of buying a SP but I didn't want to replace all my games. Does the SP and Advance use the same types of games? And if so, could I stilll use my Gameboy Advance Wireless Adapter to trade pokemon with my brother who still has a Gameboy Advance?

yeh, an SP is basically a souped-up gameboy advance. it is exactly the same, but it flips open and has a light. I had one many moons ago, and used to trade pokemon with my mate, who had a regular gameboy advance.
Gameboy Sp plays the same games that gameboy color and game boy advanced. you can use the wireless adapated with the Sp same as the advanced

all 3 of those play the same games, the gameboy DS is the newest one but it will not play the others games on it
The DS is the latest and it WILL play gameboy advance games, it has a slot on the front. I even think it plays original games.
Your better off getting a DS if you want the latest gameboy or a Sony PSP for the very latest in handheld magic.
Get a Gameboy Advance SP (full name). I think it's the best version ever and can play all the old games.
DS will not play the original games. All the others will play them from the oldest tetris.
GB color won't play advance games but the advance and SP will play them all.

If you want to play all your old game boy games as well as a lot of new games get an SP. You can play everything from the original gameboy games (it puts them in colour too!) through GB colour up to Game Boy Advance games, so you get the whole spectrum.
I've got every version of gameboy out there including the original 'house brick' version, so I know of what I speak!
right the SP is EXACTLY the same as ur advance, except that its smaller and has a light, colour just plain sucks, now, but i'd reccommend that u got a NINTENDO DS the latest and greatest installment, with wireless multiplayer gaming, attach a wi-fi connection and u can play with sum1 in jamaica for free (or so i've heard), the graphics are very cool and the games are brilliant!
