Can candles be made out of ear wax?

this was tested some years ago, but unfortunately due to the content of earwax, it doesn't contain a small amount of kerosene like domestic candles do, this enbles them to burn very slowly , the wax is only one part of two required to make them burn.

ear wax does not have the consistency to hold the flame, it will smother the fire.it can hold a wick into place though
have you head of hopi ear candles, you place them in your ear and light them , this softens the wax in your ear.

Sure,it's still wax. You have to sort of mold it into a candle shape and put a wick at the top.
yes they can stick a wick in ur ear and light it see wot happens it will stay alight for a while.
You can make a candle out of it, but it wouldn't stay lit as it isn't a hydrocarbon.
Ear wax does not burn very well so would probably keep going out and hold only a very small flame, but in theory yes.

yes but you need lots. Try cleaning your ears every day and saving the stuff in a jar until you think you have enough.

No idea about the ear wax, but in this area we refer to the strings of goo dangling from childrens noses as candles.

yes, it was in the guiness book of records of around '88 (though not exactly sure) where a man saved up about 10-15 years of ear wax to make a candle (Shrek also does it in SHREK 1 !!)

No, only beeswax can do that, but human ear wax would disintegrate immadietly if it were lit on fire.
if u had that much ear wax that would be wronge. but i imagine so if u saved it in a shape of a candle. i don't think anyone but u would want to use it though.
