Do Germans play World War II computer games?
And if they do, do they play the Nazi's and always lose?

LOL! I was just thinking about this as I was picking off Nazi's heads with an M1 Garand in Brothers In Arms. Do they find this entertaining too?
WW2 was the most supported war in American history. Literally, there weren't really anyone that protested after Japan hit Pearl Harbor. It was referred to as the Good War and I think the reason why the franchise is so succesful is because we get a first hand look into what it was like and emotional feel like we're a part of something important. As for Germans, I don't necessarily think that killing Nazi's would necessarily appeal. No one wants to play a game knowing that they're ultamitely going to be the losers.
On Band of Brothers 2, you can play as the nazis in multiplay modes, that was interesting. But I don't think it appeals especially since not every german was a nazi, there was a big group within the Germans that opposed Hitler.
I don't imagine it would sell very well iff someone made a game to where you were Al Quiada killing American soldiers.so it's probably the same for the Germans in that regard
there games are dated pre 1940
sure they play - only in their versions the nazis always cream the rest of us
i think the generation who lost the second world war are too old to play computer games

No, actually the Germans regret World War II. The Germans were extremely traumatized after World War II. If you mention the subject to a German, they will get at least close to tears.

Yes they do play games AND they do enjoy it. Not every german is a damn nazi. Learn to not catagorize people. I'm referring to the people answering the question, not the person asking the question. As far as them making Nazi based games, there are some, but they are fan made, not company made.

They play Red Orchestra all the time. Course its the Germans against the Russians but yeah I see them in there all the time. Good players too.

If you want to play as an Arab you can do that in Battlefield 2.
