I think it is about £40 per month. But it is defiently worth it. Its like playing multiplayer with your mate, but better. Its a right laugh some of the conversations you can have. Thats another thing if you do get, get a microphone it makes so much better cause if u play tatical games you can discuss tatics with your team mates Than add me Bucapl, cause i rule! lol

The price depends on where you get it from. As for my son, He bought one a month ago, and I havn't seen him since, only at meal times does he appear! So I would say yes to your answer.
Xbox Live costs $50 for a year, and afterwards $10 a month, though you can choose to have it for less months. I bought mine for $40 for 3 months, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mostly I played Halo 2 on it, the multiplayer is by far the best experience I've had online. Everything is done very well, my only complaint had to be that there were too many immature children on it who ruined the fun for others. If you have an Xbox, or Xbox 360, I recommend buying it, since it is one of the system's major features.

It cost me 50.00 a year. Yes its worth it. My Bro. in-laws and I play every Fri. night. They live about 100 miles from me, so if I can't visit physically I can at least visit through "Live".
