Answers:
P.G. Wodehouse's "The Pothunters"
______________________________.
STORY:
The school sports trophies ('pots' in the slang of the day) are stolen in a burglary, the novel follows the lives of several of the schoolboys as they study, take part in their school sports (particularly boxing and running), and enjoy tea in their studies; meanwhile they, their masters and the police join in the hunt for the 'pots'.
My wife says the book, "Does my bum look big in this!"

Sorry don't know author.
Sophie's World
Sara Payne a mother's story
one for the money by janet evanovich
Robert Rankin - The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse

Ok, so it's a murder mystery if you strip it down to it's nuts and bolts but it's set in Toy City and the 'people' croaking it are major nursery rhyme characters. But don't worry, it's rather adult (Note a teddy bear with a drinking problem as the second lead character)

I don't really read a lot but I read this book in a week in an 'un-put-downable' manner and I can;t wait until the sequel comes out in paperback.
Any of the "Flashman Chronicles" by George McDonald Fraser.
This would be the Flashman from "Tom Browns Schooldays"
A great read.
Flashman,s a true hero!
if you like Peter Kay, check out his autobiography, The Sound of Laughter'
its easy to read, funny and is real!
in fact you couldn't/wouldn't make it up!
The Traveller by John Twelve Hawks coz its really good!! xx
i just read the undomestic godess. I hadn't read a book for ages, it was easy to into, hard to put down and very very funny. I reccomend it to anyone wanting a good giggle.
the bible.
Jade Goody's autobiography. I laughed whilst I was reading it, my hubby thought that I was mad. You go through all sorts of emotions while reading the book as you realise what a terrible life she has had but obviously come through it all laughing and being dim. Definitely worth a read. Although parts of it are serious, most of the book is lighthearted, some of the words she uses is hilarious. (ie. when talking about her la-la) and experiences with men when she was younger. Ha ha, laughing again just thinking about it!
any Paul Zindel books (The Pigman)
any S.E. Hinton (The Outsiders)
any Andrew Clements (Things Not Seen)
Stuck in Nutral
Speak
So B. it
Try "Girl 15 charming but insane"it's a really funny book.
