i lurveeeeeeeeeeeeee scrapbooking and have been doing it seriously for 6 mths my work is getting better and better..jus wondering if theres any1 else into it too..mebbe we could chat.x

I looooooooove to scrap! That's my #1 hobby ever. I have been doing it for 3yrs on and off, depending on my schedule-with work and home,sometimes it's hard to squeeze into every day life. But it's something I think about every day, whether I am doing it or not. Just try to get ideas for the world around me. I love going shopping for scrappin' supplies. Scrapbooking is theraupetic and you have the opportunity to build memories that will last a life time.

scarp booking is fun. but its time consuming!
I'm totally into it. Obsessive even. And it encourages branching out into other arts and crafts. I'm getting into painting my own background papers and collaging. It allows me to express my creativity without having to be a really talented artist (I can't draw worth a damn unless I'm copying from something else.)
There are tons of people into it. Check out scrapmuse.com, twopeasinapod.com, lots of websites have forums, message boards, etc. I've found people to be really helpful, and you can look at other people's layouts or upload your own and get feedback. It's great! Especially for 'lone scrappers' - don't know 'bout you, but I only know one other person locally who scraps - so the internet is a great way to exchange ideas.
Mine aren't very good (I try to crowd too much in) but it doesn't matter. My family likes them and I have a creative outlet that I really need.
I love the idea of scrapbooking, but find it hard to start a project. I've only made 2 12x12 albums 4 mini albums in the past 2 & half years since I statred.I can't wait until someday I have a craft space where I could just walk in & create. I seem to do better with card making. Its a faster fix for me and then it's time to clean up.

Oh my gosh, scrapbooking is one of my favorite things to do. I started 3 years ago, and I have become addicted. All the girls in my family are, our living room was turned into a scrapbooking room. I love being able to use my creativity. It's not like other projects I have done where you do the same thing over and over, there are so many different possibilities, sometimes it's overwhelming.
My friends all think I am krazy when I buy scrapbooking stuff, and they all buy clothes. This is something that I do to get my mind off of things, and relieve stress. I have gotten many of my friends hooked on it also. It's cool to see where they start, and then compare it to what they get done in a few months time. It's awesome!
