ps3 is a poor excuse for a console. its first showing at e3 (2005) just showed PRE-RENDERED images, not in game. at e3 (2006) the images were jumpy and of poor quality. Ps3 has a poor game line-up, an example of this is a breakdancing game! It stole the wii's controller, rushed the design (its bigger and uglier than the original x-box). Has had problems with the blu-ray disc, controller and the cost!
Buy the 360, as it has the best online gaming, the best line-up, including dead rising, halo 3, GTA 4, etc. It has better graphics that look amazing on normal tvs. It last longer than a plastic ps3, and looks amazing under your tv!
In fact buy BOTH the 360 and wii as this still costs the same as a ps3! wii is light years ahead when talking about innovation, 360 is a real gamers console, the ps3 is just a plastic pile of wires!

From what I just heard on G4, it might not be. Apparently they have some hardware that will prevent you from playing borrowed/rented/used games on it.
not me! my brother does but hes crazy. Nintendo Revolution! or WII. way better features at an affordable price! plus nintendo won't need to improve it like ps3 and 360 will.

well ps3 i dont think so man. what is the point in creating so many Gadgets same name and style man i think every1 is happy with one. i got an xbox 360.. n i think dats really gud.. i had a ps2 wich i thought was not as gud so i dont think ps3 guna b dat gud..!!

I really think the cost of the PS3 and the problems with the hardware are the biggest hurdles of it attaining the BEST Next-Gen console status.
I think the Nintendo Wii will be the most innovative system so your best bet would be to buy the X Box and a Nintendo Wii (you can buy both for the price of a high end version PS3)

Why waste money on a PS3 when you can get an Xbox 360 and Wii for the same price. PS3 has so many issues, like it's name for instance. Sony has no originality! The next sony console will probably be a so call PS4!
Get the Wii or Xbox 360, the Wii's controller is revolutionary! If you were to play a fighting game like Soul Caliber, you could probably use the controller as numb chucks! Nintendo is best known for gameplay and originality
The Xbox 360 has the best graphics and will have the best graphics until they make a new xbox. The games for the xbox 360 are AMAZINGLY REALISTIC and the sounds are awsome.
if the price tag was around the same amount as its competetors then without a dout the PS3 would be the best there is out in the market
