Would you rent PSP, Xbox360 and PS3 games?

I am curious to know what people think about renting games. Do you rent ? what do you think of it? if you don't why not? All reply are welcome.

Thank you

yea i used to rent games dvds etc. but i have got tired of it now i dont watch films as much anymore i dont play games as much anymore i think the whole industry will collapse in the space of twenty or thirty years as they cant keep up with the demand for cuttin edge technology anymore!as you seen with the psp their was too much demand and not enough supply!the ps3 will be massive but terribly costly coming in at bout 400-500 pounds sterling!and the shortage on the xbox360 was terrible aswel.the market has reached its peak in my view and will go downhill in the next few years as someone will bring out something more exciting and better 2 use .the music industry is booming desopite illegal downloads so thats my opinion
i used to rent games but now dont play on my computer as much, it is a god idea to rent a game 1st to see if you like it then you can buy it if all goes well insted of sheding out 40 quid on a brand new game and not liking it..
I do, It's a way to try before you buy.
I rent ps2 games sometimes if a game looks ok but im not sure about it yet.Ill rent it to play , maybe do some glitches (offline) to check it out well ..and if i like it ill go buy it.
i rent games but i dont do it a whole lot and i make sure to see the game b4 i rent it. i get so sick of going to blockbuster and seeing a game i wanna rent. taking it home and finding out some other loser didnt take care of it while they had it. loads of scracthes finger prints. it really turns a person off renting. and copying is illegal and buying games is just to damn expensive. its gone from being a hobbie to a way of losing a pay cheque.
honest truth is i NEVER rented a game in my life. i know of people that do that but i find that a waste of $ for ME. i know that certain genres it's NOT worth it to buy the game because it's so short. but i usually like RPGs and some long racing and fighting games so i would have to rent it twice or maybe even three times to finish a game so it'll actually cost almost the same or just a bit less to rent. also. i love exploring sidequests and extras of the games i play so renting it would NOT be enough time for me and would end up costing a lot more like previously stated. i'm also a game collector so i would rather own the game after i play it and renting would not provide that. i get the experience renting but i don't get to keep it and if i end up buying it just to collect it then why rent it in the first place? also. some people rent because they want to try out a new game to see if they would like it then buy it. let's say that you end up liking it and want to buyt it. you would waste $49.99/39.99/29.99/19.99 and around $8 for previously renting/testing out the game. however i do acknowledge that not all games are worth buying it and that renting it would be for best like short easy simple games. also. renting is the better option if let's say you don't like a certain game but only want to borrow it because it's a party game and your homies are coming over to play together. btw i buy all my games and i never trade/sell them. i'm a true hardcore gamer and i keep all my games in great condition.
Renting games is an excellent and inexpensive way to try out a game you might be thinking of purchasing but not sure if it worth buying.
I rent games for both PSP and Xbox 360, it allows me to try out various games i may want and also if you do decide to buy it, you can carry on your game from your saves.
Renting games is great.
Of course I rent you just don't want to buy every game you want to play what if you don't like then your screwed, Plus the PS3 games are going to be $10 more then PS2 games. Unles you have $60 bucks for ever game you want, but I feel renting a game is a way to test drive the game with out paying full amount.
only if i have the hard drive to save the files to so i dont need the discs anymore
