Why are the numbers on the dartboard in that particular order?

is there any reason or was it just randomly placed wen they game first came round?

Answers:
Number Sequence :20, 1, 18, 4, 13, 6, 10, 15, 2, 17, 3, 19, 7, 16, 8 ,11, 14, 9, 12, 5
The sequence was devised by Brian Gamlin in 1896 to make dart throwing more of a skill rather than a game of chance. Generally high scoring segments are placed adjacent to low scoring segments so inaccurate throwing is penalised.

Hope this helps ;-)
because its the rules,,, otherwise it would be called something else (*.*)
