Would you read a book written by a fourteen year old?

Im thinking of writing a book, and i'm wondering who would read it, it would be fantasy.

Answers:
Yes why not?
yeah i guess so.only 1 year younger than me
i'M 14 too . but it will depends on what that book is about .

and teenagers like readin things that writen by teens . FROM TEEN TO TEENS
I would. As long as it was good. The author doesn't matter to me.
I would read a book by a 14 year old if it was the genre that I like to read!
I'd read it if I thought it was going to be good.
If it's going to be recycled LOTR/Harry Potter, then I'm not interested.
Depends. If it is written by a teenager for a teenager, then probably not, as I'm not a teenager.

But if I was 14, I probably would have.
definitely. i'm 18 and thinkin of writing a book too so you can bet i'll read your book, provided that it has all the essentials of a really great book. romance, heartache and a really wonderful ending. good luck and don't give up on the book, am looking forward to seeing it on the shelves real soon.
yeah. It might be fun to see the young teen's thoughts and imagination.
As long as it is intrigueing, interesting and plausable I would!
yes I think its a very good idea well done
It doesn't matter what age you are, if the book is good people will read it, so give it a chance.
YES I WOULD READ THE BOOK I BELIEVE THAT TEENAGERS NEED TO HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO WRITE AND EXPRESS THEMSELVES
would i ever ,, yes most certainly at that age if your going to write a book about anything i would love to get my hands on it ,, at 14 years of age you have a new way of looking at things then someone say at 20 i think it would be an eye opener to have that privilege ,,
I am significantly older than 14 and I would certainly read a book, if the story were interesting and engaging, by an author of ANY age.

If you write a story that you would be interested in, and it reads well, then don't worry about whether or not someone else might not read it just because you are younger than them. In the case of stories. regardless of genre. it is the STORY that counts much more so than the author.

Personally, I only choose to read certain authors because their previous stories have been interesting. I am always open to discovering new, imaginative authors and the tales they have to tell. Truth be told, I could care less about the author. I love the stories!
i've read the diary of Adrian Mole, and he was only 13 and 3/4

so yes i would
do it! Dean Koontz my fave author wrote books and handmade them when he was a little kid, and would sell them to friends and family! if they wouldn't buy them, he'd give the books for free! the more you write, the better you will become, so start now, and good luck!
why not? ive read books by old people, so why not books by young people?

we need some younger authours out their.there are nowhere near enough!
the age of an author is of absolutely no importance so long as the talent for writing is adequate and if your dream is to write a book then u should definitely do it with a passion, believe in yourself and the world is ur oyster! very good luck young star.remember me when ur famous xx
well yeah course, why not its got to be a good book to even get published, so thier for its gona be good, and i love fantasy, novels, ever read 'richard laymon' hes excelent, very easy to read unlike 'stephen king' and very gorey and scary.
I am sixteen and am half way through my first book. The writer of Eragon was only fifteen when he began writing the Inheritance trilogy. Completing a book at the age of fourteen would win you fame and thats what gets people reading books. Fantasy are especially commercial these days, so I think you're in with a chance!
it doesn't matter what age the person is if the writing is good then I would have no problem reading it, good luck give it a try.
