What do you consider to be Trap Hands in Poker?

This is going to vary from player to player depending upon experience and if it's limit or no-limit. My two candidates are KQ and AJ. The problem is, you can flop your kicker as top pair (example:4-5-J), and be in a world of hurt when your opponent has the real top pair (AA, KK,QQ, or even JJ). With KQ, of course you are worried about getting dominated with AK or AQ. So be very carefull about playing these in early position, and seriously consider folding to a raise. I will add however that when suited (and playing LIMIT poker) these hands go up in value, and also play better in muti-way action - when you can go for straights and flushes to win monster pots. Hands like these are much more dangerous in early position playing no-limit.
In hold-em? Two aces. Can't not go all-in on them, but they can look very bad very quickly after the flop.

i always think a straght is on or a couple of high pairs etc and always get nothing!
Statistically speaking JJ can be a very dangerous hand. A lot people see the two face cards and over play them, when in fact A LOT of hands can beat JJ after the run of the community cards. Be careful when playing JJ. Outside of that, people can say AA, AK, KK..sure these occrances will happen sometimes, but statistically you cannot call these trap hands. NOW after the flop you have to be able to let the AA go, maybe two K's come on the flop you have to be willing to accpet the fact that three of a kind is possible and even probable.
Got to be those damn ducks unless you pull a 3rd on the flop your are most likely throwing your money away trouble is if betting isn't to high you have to follow fishing for 2 pair.
