Depends on what you call good games. Theres lots of free games on the internet but not all are good. If you want puzzle type games then go somewhere like popgames. If you want MMORPG or FPS type games then go to fileplanet.

if you go to http://www.rom-world.com and download the mame32 emulator and install it, then all you need to do is get the mame32 roms from the site and put them in the roms folder. Ok you still with me? Run Mame32 and audit all the games in the file tab. Now you have a working arcade emulator and you can run loads of old arcade classics! Its well worth it and its legal because these games have been classed as without licence now.

for this, i would say..http://conqueronline.com (it takes a 'while' to download.but its a more adventurous and a lot less restricted as of runescape no such crap as members and non-memb distinction and all those smug off showy members etc.)
however, u may need to pay attention to that this game is a throughout pk-zoned game, but there are safe spots near guards. it may be frustrating at low levels, it has no bad language censorship, and it may be time consuming to level up all by yourself. other than that, it is quite a good game as a replacement of the 'done that' runescape =)
