Why will the Nintendo Wii be better then the xbox 360?
Answers:
it will be better in kid games other than that it wont be, graphics are compared to the old xbox and PS2 so u know they suck, a couple good games but not great and yes the controller is new and different but it won't take long before u get board of it. Yes with the 360 it has almost the same controller but there is a less of a learning curve involved so u can pick it up and play a game easily. I'm not a big Xbox fan or anything (i just own one)but ur argument doesn't make sense, ur complaining on how the 360 graphics suck but the Wii doesn't even come in HD it looks like kindergardners drew the pictures, and i bet u only played a 360 in best buy, that not even 1/4 of the experience! There xbox live, more than 1 game u can play from and in the comfort of ur own home where u can enjoy it in HD(if u have one that is). And unless u like Kid games the Xbox has great shooters and gore games like dead rising, COD2, GRAW, PDZ, Oblivion, and upcoming Gears of War.
This is why.
It's all about the games. It can have bad graphic and still sell out coz it only cost 250 bucks. 360 is overrated.
Wait, whos side are you on? I'm all for the wii. Its inexpensive, the games are fun, plus I like the controller. =)
new super smash! enough said enough said!
The Xbox 360 has the same games as Playstation, PC, etc which will make the customer think "why not just buy a Playstation 3. The Nintendo Wii will offer an original selection of games most of which will not be available on any other games console.
I don't think it's a case of one being better than the other. There will always be a market for both. However, I will personally NOT be getting a 360, or a PS3 for that matter, but I will be at a friendly game retailer for the midnight launch of the Wii!
I appreciate your point that the 360 is simply more of the same Xbox, albeit with prettier graphics. I haven't seen much innovation in gameplay terms with either the PS2 or Xbox - just a succession of Call of Grand Theft Metal Gear Black Honour-type games, which require too much from the casual or new gamer - counter-intuitive movement controls, a dazzling array of button presses, steep difficulty curves and harsh systems of punishment rather than reward. Don't get me wrong, there's much to be said about many of such games, as pioneers of exciting, open-ended gameplay and interesting stories. However, I don't have the time nor the inclination to suffer having my *** handed to me every five minutes because I mistook the X for the Square button whilst being chased by 20 ravenous zombies and subsequently getting stuck on some scenery!
Many criticise Nintendo as being 'for kids' - as if a 'family-friendly' policy somehow leads to dumb games with little difficulty. However, Nintendo has always pioneered intelligent, fun games with little in the way of violent or mature content - and no-one could accuse the Mario or Zelda series' as being dumb and offering little challenge! Even Nintendo, however, are expanding into the more adult market, as recent Gamecube offerings such as Resident Evil 4 and Killer 7 prove.
If all else fails, show your Xbox fanboy friends the trailer for Red Steel or the new Super Smash Bros. Even my dad, a staunch PS3 supporter, had to admit he was impressed!
reading your question I'll feel so confused? don't know which one you like? well if you ask me I'd say 360 only cause i got one and I'll tell you another thing about the X-box light in the middle of your control it doesn't just light up it also turns you console on sweet eh! doesn't turn it off tho bummer! bet everyone tries it now, just remember you heard it here first :-)
