Did you keep your childhood teddy bear?
Answers:
I am 49 and my husband is 48. We both have our childhood teddy bears and they sit together on a chair in our bedroom. Luckily they were made by the same maunfacturer - Chad Valley - so they look fairly similar, and luckily again, his is larger than mine, so his sits with its protective arm round mine. Neither of us were very imaginative as children - his was called Teddy and mine was called Candy.
I have a very few other toys from my childhood. A small doll that I really loved given to me by my aunt, and small rag doll, made by my sister and who is really wonky, but was also very well loved, and a small stuffed cat with blue eyes, that i didnt particularly love, but managed to stay where other, more loved, toys, went!
Of course!!
It holds great memories.. :]

no
No. I have nothing from my childhood
yes
I'm 32 and I still keep my teddy bear.
No. His head fell off when my sister threw him at me and bizarrely enough was never found. I think I was an odd enough kid as it was to be carrying around a beheaded teddy.
I have ALL my toys from when I was little. I also have drawings, reports, books etc. Great memories.
still have it and will keep it as long as i can! think it's improtant to save something so you can show your children! mine's a dog called charlie! looks extremley worn and freyed but is 23 years old after all!
yes i have my blanket f course every child should have there blanket and i have a teddy bear its so cute i put her on baby clothes since i dont have a child yet!!
I didn't have a favorite teddy bear, but I did have a cabbage patch doll. It now has two nearly severed arms, is almost bald, and has permanent stains from mud or dirt or something that are impossible to get out. It lost the shirt, so it now only has a pair of tattered overalls. And no shoes. Best doll ever, I brought it everywhere. It's been to Hawaii, Finland, Smoky Mountains, Rocky Mountains, and a dozen other family road trips. I'm 19, and I still have it.
No i havn't kept any of mine. I used to have a beutiful blue bear and also a big red dog but i never had names for them.
I currently have a giant panda in my room which i call Bertie. He is my mascot.
yes i have still got my teddy dog .It was my grandmas when she was alittle girl so its about 90 years old.I will probably pass it on to my grandchildren when i get some.
Yeah - I've had him 28 years now since I was 4! He even came to my wedding as a surprise - my mum kidnapped him and put a bow on him to match my bridesmaids dresses, made my day! He's been in the washing machine so many times that he's practically bald now! My husband brought his childhood teddy into our relationship but I banned him from our bed! I knitted mine a West Brom scarf and my Nana knitted him some shorts!
Yes I have 3 bears from when I was a child. One is pretty rough and the others are in ok shape. I am glad that I haven't got rid of them.
yeah i still have mine from when i was a newborn (awwwhh) and ive got my specail snoopy who come to hospital with me when i was 7 and they bandaged him up to so i wasnt on my own lol bless them
yes.
his name is chuck
and he is bald now and has a hole in his neck
and all that remains of his face is one eye
No, I had 2, one was a giant panda that played Old Susanna when you turned a crank on his side and the other was a smaller brown bear that had bells in him that jingled when you shook him, I called him Jingle Bells (how creative, lol) They were stolen with most of my other childhood toys and dolls when I was around 12. But I still have 4 dolls from my childhood that are very special to me. Posie, Tiny Tears, Baby First Step and a little unmarked vinyl doll that I named Mary Dessie after my great-grandmother who gave her to me the day I was born. That was 50 years ago and I've replaced most of my stolen dolls since then.
and then some.

yes but when my friends come round i hide it so no one can find this is the best why not to get laughed at
As a matter of fact, yes, lol. Isn't that strange? I'm almost 50 years old and I still have it, and my Larry The Lion that I operated on. I had a chicken, but I don't know what happened to it. The chicken was my favorite too.
My bear is pretty large and, wow, I guess he's almost 50 years old too. I wonder why we do that? Maybe I shouldn't be admitting to this, lol.
I think I'll have him buried with me when I go. (Oops, I'm getting cremated, so I suppose Teddy will be cremated too).
Yes.
I took my Gomachan everywhere with me.
He was a teddy of a seal given to me tha day I was born.
I'm 20 now, he's been to the hospital with me at least 6 times, he's been to a few pubs and clubs with me, and he's had a couple of sets of clothes made for him =D.
Sad, I know.. but he was also my best friend, and one of the only things that was ever a constant in my life, and that I could talk at when my parents used to abuse me =|
no but my mum has a few of my teddys at her house.
