How do i go about getting a mooring for my boat?

Answers:
Depending on where you are intending to moor your vessel. You will find a long list of people waiting to get moorings on certain harbours mariners but if you want to bypass the process ask around and see if someone is wanting to sell their mooring. If there is no authority in your chosen area then wait til the tide is out dig a big pit put a lorry wheel and tyre in it attach a length of chain and rope to it with a big bouy attached to it and bingo there is your mooring
Apply to your local harbour authority.
look in the yellow pages thats what i did for my boat, but if you join a sailing/fishing club you will get a place a lot cheaper
Go to a marina and ask.
