Who here thinks like me?
I got two numbers and a lucky star on the euro millions and got just £6.60, I think as nobody won it they should put the amount up of the other prizes and not just the jackpot. I did hear that if it doesn't go next week they will share it between lots of people probably go to those who get nearly all the numbers, why not give some of it to worthy charities as well.

I fully agree that the lower prizes should increase if the jackpot does not get won. It is crazy that someone (Probably from outside the UK) stands to win £115 million, whilst those with almost the right numbers get about the price of a pint.
I do not agree that they should start to give the jackpot out for tickets that do not get the full 5 + 2 star balls, but what they should do is to cap the jackpot at say 50 million(?) and any amount above that gets shared by the tickets who get less, right doen to the lowest prize.
That way your win with 2 + 1 star might have been well worth winning.
Just what would you DO with £115 million anyhow?
Ok, I know, same as me. Celebrate like crazy.
Good luck!
I agree 100%
Yes I think they should share it out!! After all on the thunder ball for two numbers plus the bonus you get a tenner and it only cost £1.00 not like the Euro at £1.50!
But remember you have got to be in it to win it! Well done for winning.

i cant think like you from the begining!!
I understand what you're saying but the greed machine doesn't work that way. When the jackpot is not won and rolls over to the following week, more and more people who ususally wouldn't play the lotto give it a go - meaning more money for the jackpot and, of course, more for the company that runs the lotto. They capitalise on the public chasing that dream of financial freedom.
Does the Lotto not already give loads of money to Charity?
I agree, charities would use the money way better than one human being.
The idea seems like it makes sense but in reality it doesn't. Research has shown that a lottery makes significantly more money as the value of the jackpot increases. Now sure for most people, five million would be an amazing life changing experience. However, human greed seems to drive people into a frenzy once the prize gets over 100 million. So to raise the most money for good causes, the best way to do it is what they do now. Just keep letting the jackpot get higher. Odds are someone will win it soon enough. Although I believe there is a provision in the Euromillions lottery to begin to beef up some of the lower prizes once the jackpot has rolled over enough times.
Your idea of rolling it down to the smallest prizes simply doesn't work though. It would dilute the prizes too much, and no one is going to get all that excited about winning 25% more of a tiny prize.
