Has anyone subscribed to a succesfull bet tipping service?

If so a few details about it, how is it etc. cheers.

Let's think about this: if you were a really good picker of sports bets, would you:

1) Hold the secret to yourself, and make lots of money betting; or
2) Publicize your knowledge (and thus cause the lines to move) and try to make money selling tips?

If you were a bad picker of sports bets, is it easier to make money by
1) Making bets? or
2) Selling tips?

The vast majority of bet tipping services are going to suck.

That said, I do recommend the boards at sharpsportsbetting.com. I know a few of the people there; one quit a six-digit job to bet sports full time. Their tip service isn't very good, but they have good insights on how to be a successful bettor, and occasionally identify really spectacular opportunities where the Las Vegas lines are completely wrong. (We really cleaned up on XFL betting, of all things.)
