Lag on counterstrike??
when i play counterstrike, quite often the screen freezes for a couple of seconds and then returns to normal. in this time i quite often get shot. what would be causing this lag??

If you have a slow internet connection, like a dial-up modem, you may lag when your connection can't get data to and from the server quickly enough, which makes you pause until it does get the data it needs. Otherwise, it might be that you need to get a better graphics card, faster CPU or more memory to speed up your computer.
If you're running on a high-speed connection and have a router or firewall involved, you might need to "forward your ports" to make sure that the router is sending all the network traffic for Counterstrike directly to your computer. Check out www.portforward.com for instructions on how to do this.
