Answers:
I also have a stressful job, work on average 50+ hours a week, I find that doing Jigsaws relaxes me(strange but true). I don't care whether I fix 1 piece or 100. If this is not to your liking join a ladies swimming club, one of the best forms of exercise, and leaves you relaxed.
I have a **** load of polishing that needs done.
it's half nine on a wednesday morning and you are on answers how stressed can you be.

What about Salsa dancing - I keep meaning to go. You can find your local club here:

If you're not up for that, one thing i really enjoy is bingo (Gala) once a week. It's really enjoyable - but WARNING - addictive!! Find your local one here:

http://www.gala-bingo.co.uk/home.aspx.

Hope you find what you want to do.. you just need to try different things. You're only here once - why not enjoy it!!
Volunteer as a dog walker at your local rescue centre. They're always looking for people. Gets you fit too!

Get a bike, you see so much more when you cycle.

Buy a set of cheap small glasses and some glass paints, design your own candle holders.

Horse riding is very freeing.

Is there an instrument you always wanted to be able to play, take evening classes.
Have you tried a dating site or advertising in lonely hearts magazines for a hubby. ;-)
What about knitting? Great for starting in this season! Especially you can bring it to everywhere, to your favourite cafe or even in public transport to maintain your peaceful mind during the sometimes unpleasant journey time.
A scarf is v.easy to start with :)
it depends what type of a person you are and kind of things you like .suppose you like art and craft you can go in for things can make for your home or gifts for friends etc .or if you are into music become a collector of your favorite music .if your a active person go in for some exercise group or yoga (really relaxing puts your mind in balance ),or join a gym to get fit ,you can go in for meditation too.
plus there are million things that you can do ,you just have to ask yourself what you are interested in and then go for it.
Go jogging. No joke, according to research it releases endorphins from your brain.

In english, it means your brain releases a chemical while you run that makes you happy.

Its a technique used on little kids. You tell them to go outside and play. As you watch from outside the window, you see them running around like idiots! But when they come back in, what do you see?

Smiles =]
be a pen friend to me, aitn received a snail mail for ages now, internet had really change the way we live now-er-days
Get a little boat, like a Sharpie, you can build it yourself, or have it built, and sail!
Bicycles are fun, but Sailing is quiet and relaxing. Get really goofy on it and start Raceing, you will get wet, and the boat will turn over, but that is part of the fun.
A Laser or a Sunfish is a very fun factory built boat, they are FUN!

Try the following:
1. Read books, fiction (mystery, suspense, romance, fantasy, science fiction, etc.) and nonfiction (self-help advice books, biographies, political and social commentaries).
2. Bake and cook, or learn how to bake and cook. Try recipes in cookbooks or better yet attend short culinary classes.
3. Exercise. Do cardiovascular (jogging, running, badminton, tennis, swimming etc.) and weight training (dumbbells, etc.). Buy necessary gymn equipment you can use at home to save on gymn membership fees.
4. Take care of pets. Try creatures of the earth (dog/cat/rabbit/hamster/guinea pig/rat), the waters (tropical fishes, pet lobster, turtle), and the air (birds, parakeets, poultry, etc.).
5. Create your own Internet Blog and document your daily thoughts and reflections on life.
6. Learn a foreign language. Take evening or weekend classes.
7. Take a graduate degree. Enroll in weekend, evening or distance learning classes.
8. Explore your hidden talents. Take art lessons or piano classes or gardening or pottery.

Good luck!
any sport would be ideal for relieving stress, the ones that i found to help and are fun are:
Tennis (if ur really stressed u can whack the ball at some1!)
Badminton (same as above!)
Football!( again same as above!!)

.by the way im not an violent person.honest!
How about Toad sexing,it makes an interesting career too! Failing that have you ever considered the joys of Conchology?
I believe that Pigeon racing is all the rage in Uttar Predesh these days.
Tea bag Origami perhaps? Stage Mesmerism? Bear Wrestling?
I know , you could ponder dating a Wiccan Deacon on an excursion to observe the Aurora Borealis !
A lady I knew used to make beautiful doll houses out of matchsticks or ice block sticks! She glued them together and made furniture out of matchboxes and whatever she could lay her hands on! The colours were really bright and vibrant! She gave them to the children at first, then she started selling them at her local market and they sold like wildfire! She also made little shops and she'd cut adds for soup and and such like, out of the newspapers and magazines, and stick them on the outside of the little shops! She gave her job up, and did it full time! She moved away a couple of years ago. It'll give you some ideas anyway!
How about card making or scrapbooking if there is a group in your area.
If your looking for something energetic go for your local latin american/ballroom dance class-it's fantastic, and if it's a good class you won't need to take a partner. Looking for something to do at home?Try scrapbooking-my mum got me into it, and I'm just starting out but I love it.
The obvious answer in my opinion would be to take a class at your local community college. You would be meeting people and might find a stimulating new interest at the same time. For a start, I can't think of anything more relaxing than an adult education course in oil painting or watercolor painting. If you don't think you have any talent,it doesn't matter. That's the purpose of the adult education classes..to learn and have fun without the pressure of getting a good grade. If your community college doesn't offer any painting classes, look for a class at your local craft store. Painting for personal expression is both relaxing and rewarding.
Volunteer for something. You get to help people, meet people, make friends, get out of the house, be constructive etc etc.
I used some of the resources on this site to make xtra money, so far I earned about $150 for this month and $300 last month. If you contiue to work and put the ideas to use, you should be able to supplement your income, also request the free mystery shop list too!
