Well, to get dried wax off a carpet, you would put a brown paper bag on top of the carpet and apply an iron at high heat. When you peel off the brown bag, the melted wax will stick to the bag. Repeat as needed. I can imagine that if it worked on my wool carpet, it would work on your jacket.

I have found that if it fits in a freezer, to remove wax, do it. The wax will freeze and should come off rather nicely. You might have to do this a couple of times depending on the amount of wax, the temperature of your atmosphere and hands. Hope I've been helpful!
