Can mature mimosa trees be successfully transplanted?

I have three mature mimosa trees(20ft tall) that are planted too close to the house and are blocking the light. I want to move them. Will they survive? Does anyone know the best way to go about this?

Answers:
i would suggest you move them with their mother soil, a lot of it as they will be sensitive to movement.
I think it may depend on how interwoven their root system may have become. Check with your local professionals. This might be a bit tricky to be honest.
Well yes they can with great care. You will need to get as much of the roots up with it as possible plus the soil at the base of the trunk. Have another position already dug for it.the position should get the same amount of sunlight etc. as it had before. You should use very good soil where it will be moving and add appropriate feed. Before it goes in soak the roots well. Once it is in, water it and continue feeding weekly until it is re established.
as long as the donar match is good then yes
