What is the best cleaner to remove mould on my sills around the bath ?
Answers:
I've started to use New Dettol Multi Action and it's great at removing the mould.I left it on for a couple of minutes and it wiped straight off.
I sound like a tv commercial but it's really great.
damp cloth with a spot of bleach on it.
the one with a mild bleach in a green squirty container
Try the Aussy bath cleaner or cilitbang (spelling) is a good one you can get both these products in Sainsbury
exit mould
Tilex mold and mildew is the best for this type of job. It has a higher concentration of chlorine than regular bleach.
Bleach/disinfectant.
Use a bottle with water and bleach.. or use one of those Clorox bleach pens and rinse.
bicarbonate soda and tooth brush
I'm not sure what you mean by "sills around the bath", but if the mould is on the bead of silicone rubber sealant, it is difficult to shift. The only product I have found to do that trick is "H G Hagesan Mould Spray". According to the label, it also shifts mould etc from tiles, grout, artex and plaster walls and ceilings (though further down it says "We do not recommend the use of this product on plaster walls"!). I got it from a local hardware/DIY store in the UK (£4.95 for 500ml), though it's made in the Netherlands by HG International..
Cilikban mould remover.
bleach and hydrogen peroxide
The easiest and cheapest is a good spray bottle filled with 2 capfuls of bleach and warm water. Spritz all around on mouldy spots and wait 10-15 minutes. Rinse and wipe off. And whoo whoo..no more mold. If it comes back, do it again. Also, opening the window after a shower or bath will help to keep this from becoming a regular problem. If not possible to open the window, just use the light bleach solution. Good luck!
Tilex worked wonders in my bathroom. It's affordable and available at most stores.
"kaboom" its sold at like target walmart kroger basically anywhere a bit pricey but definetly worth it because it works wonders
Personally ,a little bit of bleach along with an old toothbrush to clean any hard-to-reach places or crevices. Leave a little while then a light scrub
I use toothpaste as it has sodium in it which is good for cleaning grime off of things, and an old toothbrush then I scrubbed the sills until they were white and washed them over with warm water & lavendar oil to make it smell fresh, and dried with paper towel, hope this helps. it also helps to renew the sealent on the sills every now & then to stop cracks where mould from water can get through.

Easy to use trigger spray not only removes the unsightly mould and mildew but at the same time kills the spores preventing regrowth. Ideal for use on window frames, bathroom tiles, shower curtains, shower stalls, fridges, in fact any area which is prone to damp and condensation which often results in mould and mildew growth.
• Spray on, leave for 2 minutes, mould and mildew will be gone!

This stuff is fantastic, after trying everything else on the market, nothing compares to how good it is. Will not use anything else, only use Astonish products now.
