Where and how would a sock get into the filter of my Hotpoint Aquarious WD62 washing machine?
So would this stop water emptying out of the washer,and I just cannot understand how it got there in the first place.

It happened to me not too long ago. Someone put too many clothes in the machine, and when the machine spun between cycles, it slung the sock over the top of the tub. I didn't know it was possible either. Except my sock ended up in the motor. My machine is also a hotpoint.
