2 Electric Meter Readings?

I have just bought a property, the electric meter gives off 3 readings in total. I have worked out that one of the readings is the total of the other two. What are the other 2 readings? Does this mean I'm on Economy 7? Sorry - new to all this electric and gas bill thing! (1st house)

One of your reads is electricity day time (peak rate) the other night time (off peak rate) you'll find the highest number is normally highest number.

we have this trouble..one of the meters will be an economy that kicks in overnight...not sure what your 3rd one is.Just make sure that when the bloke comes to take the reading,he takes all three..ours jumped from £22 a week to £40 because the man reading it didnt realise that we had two..
As far as I remember Economy 7 was the only time you would have 3 meter readings, one for Night use one for day use and the total of the 2.
if you are on eco 7 then its the top 2 readings if you are not then its the bottom (total)
to find out fro sure contact you electricity supplier and ask
