What would be the cost?

Does anyone know what the cost would be to build a kitchen which already has bricks built upto three feet , with a bedroom above it in an exact square onto a house. Just approximately please ?

It depends in part on whether what has been build already is up to current building regulations eg thickness of foundations etc. You might need to speak to your local council about this.

It also depends on what kind of roof you want as this will bump up the cost

I would say you are looking at 30 to 50 k for a decent job

Had you asked 20 minutes ago i could have asked my other half who is a builder. I do know he said it would be over 10 grand to make our flat kitchen roof into a patio area. Might edit later tonight if you get no sensible answers.
