Whirlpool bath?

is it worth an extra £300 to have a whirlpool installed in the bath

Answers:
I have always wanted one and would use it, if it is something you want then yes do it. Maybe if you can shop around a bit maybe you can find one on sale or cheaper. Also consider if you can have the one you want installed in your bathroom (unless this is a new house being built now) you may need to settle for something else.
I would think so regret getting a large swimming pool instead of a jacuzzi.
i dont think so
i got a new bathroom suite installed last year
i really wanted a whirlpool bath because i thought i was more luxurious but the reality is not so great
they blow air into the water but this air come from outside, so if its a cold day be prepared for getting a blast of cold air!
also some of the baths have lots of little nossels in them where the air comes out. these can be placed in the most uncomfortable possistion and as they are normally metal they can be very cold too!
i think the idea is often nicer than the actual thing
i went for a space bath in the end
its bigger than the normal bath and had a bubble shaped area that u can stand and have a shower in! i love it and all my gusts do too!
Depends on your age and job. It's great for relaxing strained muscles and joints.
Yes.definately..If you don't have a need for a long enjoyable therapeutic soak.there is no need for a tub at all. And you always have the choice of whether to use them or not. The whirlpool is also great for resale!
no not atall save the £300 & just thrash around in the bath ok granted you'll get the floor wet but lino's never going to cost you £300
when i built my house 5 years ago i put in a whirpool bath in the master bath, mainly for re sale benifit, since then i have had 2 knee surgeries and a recurring disc that slips in my back, those things coupled with trhe fact that i am a painting contractor and have a somewhat physical job,has led me to believe that the whirpool was the wisest choice i made with my house, . it has paid for itself many times over in soothing relaxing relief.
Can I make a suggestion? Don't get a whirpool, get a spa bath. Difference? A whirpool bath pumps water and air at you at considerable pressure, cold air. A spa bath with surround you with bubbles of whatever temperature you require. You can sit there for hours and they are GREAT!
Absolutely
Most definitely, I have installed a corner bath with the whirlpool with 8 jets, the air for the bubbles is controllable from an external fitment, the main water flow comes from the recirculating pump, so forget what others say about them, they are very therapeutic, & good for you, providing u havent got a heart problem or pregnant, they can also be used as a normal bath to so go ahead & get one they are brilliant
