Where can I buy good quality basic pine furniture in the UK?
Somewhere that is NOT Ikea, with their veneered nasty stuff. Furnishing my first home so the less expensive the better. Any good websites or shops? Thanks.

Focus chain have a good basic range of darker pine stuff. looks very natural, we have several pieces now, all ,atch. Being Focus, the prices are good, too.
There is a good pine furniture shop near the railway station in Bishop's Stortford. Good gear, and they gave me a 10% discount when I asked for it.

There are lots of different styles/qualities of pine furniture. Depends on your preference and budget. "The Pine Barn" in Haynes Bedfordshire has a good range and if you're looking for waxed, knot free pine, they have the best you'll find at a very fair price.
