as a contractor in new construction luxury homes, what the designers are going with latley are , greys of all types as in grey /greens solid greys ..beiges thal lean, grey etc. also the browns are still very popular , like colors called ,mocha,latte ,desert sand etc. Making strong gains are yellows , soft almost pastel type yellows and finally making a strong return are the sage , and kahki greens..dining rooms continue to trend to the wine/burgundies

Who cares? I always decorate my house in the colours that suit my colouring, after all why do I wanna sit in a room in a colour that makes me look sallow or drab? Figure out which colours u look good in then decorate ur rooms in that colour. I do most of mine in soft lilac/ blues etc cos whenever I wear that colour people always tell me how great i look. Find your colours and go with it

Laura Ashley have some marvellous chinese papers which are foiled and/or black marigolds. Great for accent walls. Duck egg blue seems to be favorite, with silver and black accessories.
BTW Clothing this fall is metalicised fabrics too
You should try to decorate your surrounding to your own taste and not to follow some trend,decorating is not like buying a new sweater for the season it should last a bit longer.
