Who has already started buying CHRISTMAS presents/decorations?
I'd really like to speak to someone who has already started thinking about december 25th? Have a big family? Extremely good at planning? Please let me know either way.

I actually started buying in January for some people, while the sales were on. I have to get all my shopping done early for Christmas as my girlfriend's parents were really inconsiderate and gave birth to her on the 24th December. Buying 2 very expensive gifts at that time of year, plus for both families as well means that I have only got 4 people left to buy for. I do a general check of all the shops periodically and if I see something I think someone will like I will buy it and save it. Worth trying, and the sales are always good.
Why? So you can punch them? Christmas is miles away!!!!! forget about it!
Too hot to think about that! LOL
i have i have 3 kids they have there shopping orders in all ready..
i have all mine done by October so i can put my feet up while every one worries
I actually have bought quite a bit of decorations at some recent garage sales. Xmas decorations are so expensive and we just moved to a bigger house. I have been getting some great stuff and getting it dirt cheap. I figure if I get the decorations now then I can concentrate on Xmas gifts in a few months and can spend more of the gifts..
I buy presents for about 10 people every holiday. I only buy decorations and stocking stuffers after the holiday to get the 50 percent or more off the sale. But, I know what to buy for everyone and make a list of everyone and the gift I think they would like. I am extrememly good at planning.in fact I am a personal organizer
I have already started buying for christmas i started in January with the xmas cards and since then been buying the odd gifts to put away ready for christmas always find it easyer to do it this way so i can get everyone what they would like and not be let down if i leave it till the last min and they not have it
As soon as Easter was over I started getting a few little bits for Christmas but generally i'm very disorganised sorry
I haven't yet this year. But last year, I was way ahead of the game. I started ordering presents online early. Every payday, I ordered a couple of things and by a few weeks before Christmas.I was all finished and everyone else around me was scrambling. I would say that whenever you are at a store and think to yourself, so and so would love this..then buy it. You don't have to do it all at once. Just do a little here and there and you will be good to go by Christmas.
I've started thinking, but not buying yet. I have 7 kids, and a few other relatives to buy for, so I have to start WAY early, or it is just a financial burdon in December. I always SAY i'm not buying alot for my kids, but I always end up going WAY overboard. lol
I have 5 kids, and a pretty large extended family including in-laws. I start my notebook list of names late winter and make an entry each time I hear someone say "I wish I had" or "wouldn't it be nice if I could". Then when I think I have an item on the list that I'd like to get that person, I start looking for a great price.
I usually have my shopping done by the end of October. I do sometimes pick up a couple of extra things for the kids the day after Thanksgiving if the deals are worth it.
my mom always has all her Christmas shopping done by September 1st....she wants to enjoy the Holiday with the rest of the family ( she always does most of the cooking,& loves it)
i just bought my pieces for my village
not me.
I have started getting my presents and im going to start making my christmas cards soon
can you tell me how toget back to middle earth!
I've been buying them for a while! I have family in Australia and if I send them clothes they have to be summer clothes so I have to buy them now. Everthing else waits till the last minute!
This really annoys me and makes me want to leap onto my soap box ! It is 5 months to Christmas, when it becomes so commercialised it takes the fun away. I wonder how many people really think about the true meaning of Christmas ? Children have so much that they no longer know what to play with, there is too much choice.
My husband & I go Christmas gift shopping on Christmas Eve and we get the food the week before, it makes it so much more special and exciting. We have a lovely Christmas. A lot of the gift giving is so false, people give and receive gifts that they don't really want. We buy some speciality foods that we don't normally have, a bottle of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Remy Matin, I make a Christmas Cake and pudding along with sweet mincemeat for pies and some nice chutneys. We certainly enjoy it but don't over-indulge as that would spoil it all. We put our Christmas tree up a few days before Christmas, we have seen some houses decorated in November !
People don't seem to realise that the over indulgance of Christmas doesn't make them happy, quite the reverse it causes stress. We certainly have a contented, happy Christmas time and we always leave a carrot for the reindeer and a mince pie for Santa ( magically they always seem to disappear ).
My Friend has completed her Christmas Shopping already, what with Next Sales and M&S Sale she got everything for her family and friends.
There are loads of Sales on at the moment, maybe you should start bargain hunting.
I wish I was that organised (and rich)
