What kind of saw blade do I need to cut a few inches off a barrel?

how can I shorten the burner I uses for incinerating trash?

Answers:
a really sharp one
Try a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade.
a metal cutting blade
Try recycling.
USE HACKSAW WITH A HIGH SPEED STEEL BLADE.

IT IS VERY SAFE.
The type of blade required depends upon the metal the barrel is made of
Hardened steels or high temperature steel alloys are best cut with a diamond saw blade on an angle grinder.
If the metal is poor quality steel then a bog standard hack saw will do the job.
Shortening the barrel of a firearm is a criminal offence and caries a heavy penalty, besides which if you get it wrong the gun blows up!
disc cutter with metal blade on (stihl) or something like that
A most versatile tool that I use frequently to cut cast iron and galvanized pipe, tile, brick, and a myriad of other usually difficult things to cut, is a 4" grinder with a diamond blade. Another alternative would be a sawzall with a lennox #818-r sawblade. In either case, use the proper safety precautions (eye and ear protection and gloves).
try a metal blade
give it both barrels !
A nail file!

Seriously though. I know women say size isn't important but it really is nice so unless they are running away screaming 'get that thing away from me!' I really wouldn't lose the inches. If you really need to then speak to a specialist regarding surgery. (see link below where they do it for free)

Also. Incinerating Trash. Interesting euphemism. I take it Incinerating refers to the deed itself and trash would be the person on the receiving end of your 'burner'?
