How much does it cost to tile a bathroom (or how long does it take)?

I have 10m2 of walls in my bathroom which need tiling with largish (say 20cm x 20 cm) non-patterned tiles. How much should this cost, and how long should it take. I will have already done the necessary plumbing of the new bath, and have taken off the old tiles. (Oxford area).

I tiled my bathroom when I was 8 months pregnant, so it's not that hard if you want to do it yourself! The cost will depend on how much you pay for your tiles - the adhesive is relatively cheap.

If you're looking to get someone in, a reputable tile will charge about £150-200 per day, during which time he should get it all done. Any longer than that and he's ripping you off.

The trickiest part, I found, was grouting, afterwards.
I am not sure how much it costs, but my aunt does a lot of this kind of work and loves it. If you go to Home Depot or something, they have pamphlets with instructions on what you need. Good luck, it is a lot of fun.
Im not sure about price but we paid about 3 or 4 thousand pound to have our whole bathroom completed. That included tiling, which took them about 2 days to complete.
My partner used to work for a tiling company and he has said that, you know the measurements of the bathroom concerned. Go to your local tile stockists and choose the tiles you wish to purchase. If you give them your measurements they will give you the cost of the overall items including grout and adhesive. The cost of the tiling depends on if your going to apply them yourself or whether you get a professional in to apply them. They normally charge in our area around £25 psm. Hope this helps
I just got mine done - similar size, but also tiled the floor. Took about 1.5 days and the labour was £160. This was a reduced rate cos the tiler is a neighbour of mine. You could be looking around £250 or more in your area.
try topps tiles you could get a great deal or tile magic you could also try tiling it your self topps tiles have a tiling video
first lets make sure you are putting hardibacker board or cement board on first. If their is green rock cut it out. put cement board in its place w/ screws.
Now measure Length times width to get your square footage. Order 10 % more tile then your footage.
"Field" tile or wall tile is what is commonly used in bath rooms. You will also need Bull nose tile or end cap tiles and 2 exterior corner tiles. To finish edge. The price of the tile will vary from store to store and quality of tile chosen. if using a wall tile make sure to buy NON sanded grount. If using floor tile make sure to use SANDED grout. If you choose floor tile you will not find matching end pieces but you could use a liner bar or a deco liner. to finish the non finished edge. If you live in the houston area i know of this place called floors & decor they have huge selection and always have great sales. You will not find them on line. I recomend using thinset over mastic as mastic has a life of about 5 years. To set the tile. If a pro were to install it for you. In houston it would cost about 2.50 a square foot where as in Louisiana it could go for about 5.00 a sq.ft. So price does very from state to state as well.
