Could I paint a roller blind? I want to change the colour, not spend a fortune on new ones.?
Will they still roll up the same if I paint them? I would probably use emulsion..?
Answers:
Emulsion will definitely crack. I would be surprised if the roller blind still worked, too. Use fabric dye (number 1 choice) or fabric paint to do this job otherwise you are going to have a disaster on your hands. Don't forget to do both sides too.
I wouldnt recommend it, but you could unroll the roller blind and put a shimmery fabric over the top and roll it up again, it gives a dual layer effect which I think is cool
No its not possible - as it dried the paint would crack and fall off when rolled up xx
no it will crumble off when you roll it up! maybe try fabric paint or dye & paint that on.
roller blinds aren't the expensive though.
heres a painted one

Try using fabric paint or spray paint. Neither will crack unless used frequently. I spray painted 4 of them and after so long using them everday, they began to wear, but now they have a really cool vintage look :)
Paint will crack. Try using fabric dye. You can brush it on, or spray it on.
As well as H3llokitts answer I would say why not dye it
