I have stain glass windows i want to save frames are no good and try to double gales lower half?

I get the impression that you have stained glass windows, but the frames are rotten. What I think you require is a new set of frames incorporating the old stained glass, not double glazed,,but double glazed clear glass in the lower section .
I would suggest that you get an estimate from a window company,, and explain to them what you require, I have seen exactly what you have and they look great.
They are available in wood or plastic.
