How thick should my loft insulation be?
Answers:
Samm is correct.....
6" is a good thickness for loft insulation depending on what sort your using..
It isn't the thickness it is the R rating. The higher the rating the better.
Depends on how efficient you want it to be doesn't it? More is better than less.
a minimum of 150mm ,if you can lay rolls one way then overlay them the other way (crosshatching) but remember to leave ventilation at the eaves or you will get condensation
