How much should I tip movers in the UK?
Quite a few stairs on the way out.
Answers:

If your happy and they are helpfull I would give a tenner to the group at the end of the job.
Hi,
Never understood tips.
Why tip them? they are being paid for doing there job already!?
Cheers!
Hard to say - how much are they moving and from where to where?
10 to 15% is the usual in the UK however you should only tip if you are satisfied with the service ie polite, efficient and helpful
You don't have to tip them
thats what they are paid for. keep ur cash for ur new home, they get paid a lot for what they do.
make sure they do a good job before you even think about tipping them
When we moved house 7 years ago, the moving bill was 650 pounds and I tipped the team of 4, 40 pounds (ten pounds each). I actually don't like tipping much, agreeing with some of the other people who have answered, and think that people should be paid a fair wage in the first place. I tipped our team because I realised they weren't being paid that much and because I was very grateful for all their hard work (steps at both ends). Ten pounds each didn't seem that much to me and I was worried about being stingy, but then I reasoned that a tip is a gesture of goodwill and extra thanks. All v. tricky, so I hope you sort it out.
