You want something which will be firm (the mattress will provide comfort.) and hardwearing, ie. wil not 'wobble' or creak and will last. Also consider whether you want storage underneath - you can get various combinations, visit a good bed shop and see what's available. If you don't need storage you could opt for a bedstead or futon. Really, it is a matter of practicality and personal preference.
